"Garden Eel AR/VR" presents an immersive augmented and virtual reality experience, building upon the foundations of the original "Garden Eel." This application offers users the chance to engage with garden eels in a dynamic, virtual aquatic environment accessible through iOS devices.

It features a total of seven viewing modes, allowing for tailored interactions based on user preference. These modes can be easily toggled via the switch view icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen:

1. Single View Mode
2. Front Camera Mode
3. Back Camera Mode
4. Side by Side Mode (compatible with iPhone/iPod touch equipped with a VR viewing box)
5. 3D Lens Mode (requires an iPhone/iPod touch with a 3D lens attachment and VR viewing box)
6. 360 Degree Rendering Mode
7. AR Mode

In AR mode, users will notice white circles appearing on detected surfaces, which allow for the placement of digital garden eels by simple taps on these planes. The VR parameters can be tailored through the VR menu accessed via the icon in the bottom left corner.

For those wishing to capture and share experiences, a screen image can be recorded by tapping the camera icon in the top right corner. The app also supports synchronized displays across multiple iOS devices by selecting the synchronize icon simultaneously on each device.

In camera mode, face detection can be activated by tapping the face detection icon in the middle right portion of the screen, enabling garden eels to follow detected faces. An innovative overlay feature merges garden eels with facial imagery for unique portrait photography.

Additionally, users can nurture their own garden eels through another application titled "Garden Eel." Once developed, these custom creations can be transferred via iCloud by selecting the iCloud icon in the top left corner.
